A modern, minimally invasive approach to replacing your aortic valve.

Through every question, every opinion, every unfamiliar turn, Shifara Health’s experts guide you with care.

You should never face this alone.

Facing severe aortic stenosis can leave you feeling drained, short of breath, and unsure about your options. When open-heart surgery is too risky or simply not the path you want to take, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement offers a life-changing alternative. Shifara Health exists so that this decision and the process of seeking advanced care in India are never things you have to navigate alone.

What is the TAVR Procedure?

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)—also commonly known in Europe and Asia as TAVI—is a minimally invasive procedure designed to replace a damaged or narrowed aortic valve without opening the chest.

During TAVR, a collapsible replacement valve is guided to the heart via a thin tube (catheter), usually inserted through an artery in the groin (transfemoral approach). Once positioned within the diseased valve, the new valve is expanded, pushing the old valve tissue aside to restore healthy, unhindered blood flow to the rest of the body. India’s premier heart centers feature state-of-the-art hybrid catheterization suites and leading structural interventional cardiologists who perform TAVR with high precision and exceptional patient outcomes.

Why opt for TAVR in India?

Advanced structural valve procedures require specialized multidisciplinary heart teams, sophisticated 3D imaging technology, and elite post-procedure ICUs. India’s top cardiac hospitals offer immediate access to world-class TAVR capabilities immediately, avoiding the months-long waiting lists often found in Western healthcare systems. International patients traveling from North America, Europe, the Gulf, and Africa gain access to FDA-approved valve technology and world-renowned specialists at a fraction of global costs.
